He won a $4 million judgment for a client in a dispute over ownership of a Florida apartment building. In another case, when the City of Chicago tried to shut down several motels, which would have deprived their owners of millions in value, Mr. Ciardelli took on the case, fought for those owners, and kept their motels open.
