At this firm, the client comes first.

Keeping the lines of communication open and always being readily available to the client is the cornerstone of the attorney-client relationship. I take this relationship seriously and strive in each and every case I handle, to always put the client first.

I am a 2002 graduate of DePaul University College of Law and admitted to practice in Illinois, as well as before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Seventh Circuit. I am the managing partner at Ciardelli, Cummings & Campagna LLC and have been an equity partner since 2011. My primary practice areas are workers’ compensation, personal injury, real estate, criminal defense, and estate planning. I have been named a Super Lawyer by Thompson Reuters for four years running since 2022. Before being named a Super Lawyer, I received recognition as an Illinois Rising Star by Thompson Reuters for four consecutive years. Super Lawyers and Rising Stars is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Thompson Reuters, through a patented peer review process, selects the top 5% of attorneys to its Super Lawyers list each year.

A large percentage of my cases involve representing individuals seriously injured at work. I have over two decades of experience handling workers’ compensation claims at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, having handled numerous trials and appeals at the Commission. I have been fortunate to have successfully tried and settled workers’ compensation cases in the mid-to-high six figures.

My substantial experience also includes handling a wide variety of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, construction negligence, and product liability cases involving medical device failures.

I also have a wealth of experience in real estate transactions as well as real estate litigation. I have closed over 500 real estate transactions, including the sale and purchase of single-family homes, townhomes, condos, multi-unit buildings, and commercial properties, including 1031 exchanges. My experience includes successfully handling broker disputes, real estate contracts gone awry, and fraud and statutory actions based on violations of the Real Property Disclosure Act.

I also have over two decades of experience handling many different types of criminal defense matters, having learned from my long-time partner, Victor Ciardelli, who is one of the most seasoned and successful criminal defense lawyers in the City of Chicago.

Should you also need estate planning advice, I am available to assist. Whether it be a simple estate plan or something more complicated, I have the experience drafting the right estate plan for you and your family.

I’ve been truly blessed and fortunate over the last two decades plus to have learned from two great mentors, my partners, Vic Ciardelli and Pat Cummings.
